We’ve had a shop in Swanage in some form since 2014, initially opening our first tiny premises on a side street in the centre of town. Now onto our third location after a recent move, the new shop in Swanage town centre is on Institute Road where the old Natwest bank used to be and has lovely views of the beach. This is also where our production lab is based and where all the Yellow Gorse products are created.
Along side our products we also stock plenty of gifts, cards, handmade crafts, indoor plants, sustainable clothes and ethically sourced homewares.
In addition to our wellbeing apothecary, lifestyle and gift shop, we have also started serving healthy snacks and sweet treats including stuffed dates with cashew butter and raw vegan brownies. Alongside our snacks, we serve specialty coffee and wellness drinks - our adaptogenic 7-blend mushroom latte or raw cacao are not to be missed!
Besides visiting Yellow Gorse there are plenty of things to do in Swanage! You could take a walk to Old Harry rocks, around Durlston country park or simply along the beach (with a stop at Down The Beach or The Cabin for food/drinks) and up to Peveril Point. For brunchy bits, we’d recommend Burnt Toast which has recently opened and for lunch we love Java, Lovecake and The Salt Pig Too. Carve beach cafe also does excellent coffee with panoramic views of the sea.
